Inner Rainbow- Mindfulness for Kids

Mindfulness for All Ages

The aim of the 7-week course, Inner Rainbow Mindfulness, is to help build awareness of the connection between, and healing potential of the physical and emotional aspects of the human body. We are using practical, easy to follow and effective mindfulness and wellbeing tools for all ages, to help promote whole body health by being calmer, more present, more understanding of our emotions and better able to concentrate.

Each week we will use a different colour to focus on a different Chakra area of the body. This will have different emotions and physical benefits and each week builds onto the next. Each class will help you to engage all your senses and use movement exercises (Brain Gym exercises which may help to relieve stress and improve co-ordination between left and right brain activities), meditations, acupuncture points for self treatment, food discussions, emotional communication games, aromatherapy oils, Bach Flower Remedies, Kinesiology muscle testing and corrections. Each class concludes with journalling- either writing or drawing (depending on participants' abilities and how they wish to communicate). The classes will have between 6-8 children and two teachers to ensure they are able to gain as much from the course as possible

This is your EXCLUSIVE online content with the videos of the exercises and MP3 recordings of the meditations alongside acu-point diagrams, mindfulness tips, descriptions of the crystals, scents and Bach Remedies discussed in the class. These resources will help you to integrate your new skills into your daily life.

This class is an opportunity to help parents to give their children tools to be able to process and recognise their emotions and to help to calm down their nervous systems. The result will have a ripple effect throughout their growth and development and hopefully help them to ease through life feeling safer, calmer and more confident.

By involving their senses with colour, aromatherapy, crystals, music and binaural frequencies, Bach Flower Remedies, meditation, foods, movement and connection to other kids they may gain a stronger connection to their own bodies and intuition.

The results of this class may include immune boosting, digestive enhancement, nervous system calming, confidence, improve concentration and cognitive skills, improve fine motor skills and also help the child to process extreme emotions and behaviour patterns.

With years of experience working with people of all ages and with young children herself, Louise and Kate are well equipped to identify areas that you can also work on at home and the course is designed to help the whole family make lifestyle changes beyond the classroom and into daily life.
